A smart, kinetic and engaging video that drove home a smart and simple narrative regarding the functionality of the product.

This was about disrupting the mindset of “any bandage will do”.

THE ASK

Focus solely on the functionality of the Skin-Flex product to showcase consumers the unique benefits of the brand.

There’s a lot going on in this little strip of stickiness. A pad that’s 3X more flexible than other pads in the lineup, and soft. The bandage itself was more flexible than previous offerings and the technology that went into it made it 5X stretchier when compared to other sheer bandages. It stays on when wet, has a wonderful hold and it all works to move like a second skin.

THE STRATEGY

The best way I know how to compare things is to hold them and look at them; After all, observation is an essential part of learning.

The intent here was to capture the audience’s attention in a bright Band-Aid coloured stage. Movement is a stakeholder in retention of users eyes, and was used in various forms throughout the ad to keep attention.

The lock-up of the bandage pause with its attributes and features becomes almost schematic like, further emphasizing the unique benefits of the offering. All then tied together as we shift into final position and the ad holds on the simple reason to believe.
